...It is wonderful! I get such joy from the birds.

This morning we had a shower and a flock of finches and sparrows roosted in the dogwood brush right behind our property line. They flitted and twittered about noisily while jostling for their turn at the feeders. It was a short shower and as soon as the rain broke, all the birds and their songs faded away....

Well worth putting up with rain for the 30 minute serenade!Karenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04165506925654309745noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-990352998542863561.post-11061151851844109142011-06-30T08:27:51.008-07:002011-06-30T08:27:51.008-07:00Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha...I would have loved to have se...Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha...I would have loved to have seen that cat dangling with you laughing at it!
Last evening Boo was helping me level out bark chips in my garden corner and she kept dancing too close to the finch feeder. The female would sit at the top of the hibiscus tree and "peeeeeeep!" letting me know she needed to hold still. As soon as she did, she and her young one flew down and ate...keeping an eye on Boo and making sure she didn't dance too close to the feeder. It's so funny how they interact with us in our gardens...I'm amazed at the way they communicate with us!FelineGirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15513783318793901051noreply@blogger.com
